Alusa Engenharia started its operations in 1960. In a short time, Alusa became the biggest service providing company in the power distribution segment, once working simultaneously for over 20 concessionaires throughout the country.

Between 1960 and 1970, Alusa had an outstanding participation in Brazilian rural electrification. At a time when there was no road infrastructure, Alusa took power to the remotest and most inhospitable corners of the country. Over 50 thousand kilometers of transmission lines were built and about 200 thousand rural connections.

Alusa Engenharia gradually expanded its operations. Today, the company also works in construction, operation and maintenance of power transmission systems, construction of power generation plants, civil construction and electrometrical assembly in the areas of oil, gas and mining.
